Irish Forest Mini Waterfall

Walking in the Irish woodland, you come across these little streams. I should have recorded the sound it was tinkling musical notes , tumbling over ancient moss-covered stones, threading through ferns and wild grasses, finding its way down through the green.

I always wanted to capture one of these little beauties with my brush. Here the tall, silent trees standing sentinel above, the lush hillside rolling toward the cascade, and the earthy warmth of peaty ground where the stream finally rests. It is a painting that breathes.
